| Monday October 30 2000 waking up after a night of wind,
Jaywick this time never got it nearlyas bad as other parts of the
country. It ended up with a sandstorm. At least one lady needed help
getting in to her chalet. If you go to the beach you don't have to
worry about climbing down steps anymore, the sand had covered them,
as well as most of the top road. Looking on the bright side though
it has slowed the traffic along there, so is safer to walk. If you
changed the colour of the sand to white you would think there had
been a snow storm. Looking at the market place it looks like a beach
with pools that the tide has left behind. |
