Featuring the 95th Rifles Re-enactment Society Fun was had over the weekend with the 95th Rifles and other regiments including one from Essex. They set up camp Friday night. Then battled it out against the French all over the weekend. Only taking a break to show visitors how life was lived. Everything used to either fight with or eat was current with the time depicted. Stews were made over open fires. Also over the weekend were the SAS .. Sharpe's Appreciation Society. Rifleman Harris from Sharpe's regiment was also on site signing autographs. |
