The Health Centre is built on the site of the Barn garage,
Jaywicks zoo in 1932. It officially opened in 1995. It contains a
doctors sharing its doctors from a branch in Clacton. A dentist, who
also has a surgery in Ford Road Clacton. Jaywicks only chemist is
also located there, the next nearest being in St Johns rd. Just turn
right at the top of Jaywick Lane.
Although the medical center is in respects very modern in equipment
and facilitys, the baby clinic is held here. There can still be a
three week waiting list for a non urgent appointments. |
