| Traveling to the very end of Jaywick just past the
Boat House you come to "Towers" as it is known locally, it started
off many years ago as a few caravans and a club house, with now
x-owners serving behind the bar. It has recently been bought by
a corporate company who have sites all over the country including
Highfields in Clacton and another in Whitey Bay T&W. The camp
survived the floods and storms in both 1953 and 1987. The is currently
open from between the first week in March and the last week in October,
with many owning caravans and paying a yearly rental. There is also
a fleet of vans for hire.
